After almost twenty years, since I started to hike and climb mountains, volcanoes, rocks and hills around the World, I have had the privilege to know and learn from many people at every place I have been around. Persons which allow me to hiked or climb with them, showing me wisely many different ways to see the mountaineering and different ways to see the life, feeding, sleeping, enjoying, etc.I will always give thank’s to God for it.I have done multiple climbs to the Guatemalan and Central American Summits, also I have climbed around the World. Among them, summits at the Alps, Andes, Atlas, mountains of Iceland, Polar Circle, Antartica, Africa, Australasia, Asia, Himalaya like Mt. Cho Oyu with 8,201 meters (sixth highest mountain of the World) at the year 2000; reached the summit of Mt. Everest at May 23, 2001 becoming the first person from Central America and Caribbean Region who achieved it, that makes me feel so proud to be Guatemalan.Besides of that, I have had the opportunity to conclude successfully projects and challenges like Seven Summits of the World, which means to reach the summit of the highest mountain at all continents of the World (ended at May 2001); the challenge to climb the highest summit of the seven largest islands of the World, project known as Seven Islands of the World (ended at January 2006) or 7x7 which means Seven Continents + Seven Islands (ended at January 2006); also I finished the project called Taca Summits, which means to climb the highest summits in all the 19 countries Taca Airlines fly across America, from Canada to Chile (ended at March 2006)Happy Summits!
